The Vision

Stories are impact.

It’s easy to feel like our lives are a set of random events. However, a bird’s-eye view can help you see the patterns in your life and realize:

  • That you matter
  • Your life has meaning
  • Your business has value
  • Why your business or next career move is relevant
  • Why you’re the best person to be doing it

I started my career in journalism and have interviewed hundreds of politicians, CEOs, artists, designers, and more.

I quickly learned that we each have value and are here for a purpose. Once we are able to define what our purpose it it helps gain clarity in business strategy and clarity in our messaging. Are you ready to connect the dots?

THE story

About Seema

Seema started her career in journalism as a freelance writer in 2008. She has contributed to publications such as The Calgary Herald, WestJet Magazine, USA Today, Mic, Uber Eats, and Touring Bird by Google.

She went on to become a founding editor of The Huffington Post Alberta and the editor of Where Magazine, a travel publication.

Seema has interviewed hundreds of individuals, from politicians and CEOs, to entrepreneurs, and has never walked out of a room without a story.

As a journalist, she found that a lot of her entrepreneur friends were coming to her with similar questions, which is what led to the launch of Content Celebrity. Seema has been heavily invested in the journalism community, and frequently speaks about digital trends and journalism at conferences in North America.

Fun facts

Seema was born in Mumbai and lived in the city of 35 million until the age of 13. She then moved to a country with the same population and wondered where all the people were her first Christmas in Calgary.

She fell in love with stories at a very young age and often got into trouble for reading too many magazines.

She wrote about this in her first Editor’s Note as editor of Where Magazine in 2017. (Who’s laughing now?)

Seema loves speaking at events, the perfect cup of tea, and travel.

Here are some things on her travel checklist:

  • Learning to drum in a monastery✔
  • Cycle down a volcanic crater in Maui
  • Take a meditation class in Bali✔
  • Travel the Silk Route by train
  • Step foot in Africa
  • Drive a manual transmission car in Ireland
  • Explore Canada coast-to-coast✔
  • Eat a Cronut in New York City without waiting in line✔
  • Visit the spot where the Great Wall of China meets the sea
